Product Description: The advanced performance series of Ethyl Cyanoacrylates are a family of products that have been designed and manufactured to meet the demands of today’s product assembly requirements. These single component, room temperature and rapid curing adhesives have been formulated to bond a wide range of similar and dissimilar materials: plastics, metals, elastomers, wood and both porous and non porous surfaces.
These cyanoacrylates create exceptional bond strengths with excellent aging and weathering characteristics. This is the most common type of superglue manufactured.
Mil-A 46050 Type II. Colorless, transparent liquid with a useful temperature range of -65ºF to +200ºF. Full cure 8 hours. Tensile/Shear strength 2700-4300 psi.
Our ethyl cyanoacrylates come in a wide variety of viscosities to meet your cure speed and gap fill requirements. As a rule of thumb, high viscosity (thick) glues cure slower than lower viscosities, but they have a higher gap fill rate.
E5 has 5 cps viscosity (very water like) with gap fill .002. Mil Spec Class 1. Typical fixture time < 5 seconds.
E45 has 45 cps low viscosity with gap fill .004. Mil Spec Class 1. Typical fixture time < 8 seconds.
E100 has 100 cps viscosity with gap fill .005. Mil Spec Class 2. Typical fixture time < 10 seconds.
E120 has 120 cps viscosity with gap fill .006. Mil Spec Class 2. Typical fixture time < 10 seconds.
E150 has 150 cps viscosity with gap fill .007. Mil Spec Class 2. Typical fixture time < 10 seconds.
E300 has 300 cps viscosity with gap fill .007. Mil Spec Class 2. Typical fixture time < 10 seconds.
E500 has cps viscosity with gap fill .008. Mil Spec Class 2. Typical fixture time < 12 seconds.
